ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – On Monday night, Albuquerque City Council is expected to make a final decision on a proposal that would limit where food trucks can park.

Food trucks normally can set up shop on a public street, right outside a restaurant’s front door.

Under a proposal by City Councilor Isaac Benton, food trucks would have to park at least 100 hundred feet from restaurants.

In exchange, they’d be allowed to stay on private property longer than the law currently allows.
