Piedmont Park will be packed with food trucks on Saturday, thanks to the Atlanta Street Food Festival. And even though the kitchens on those trucks might be small — that doesn’t mean the workload is.
Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken recently got the chance to spend the day as a trainee with the workers on the Happy Belly Curbside Kitchen food truck. Happy Belly was created three years ago by Dawn Hall and her late husband Terry, and has become one of the most popular in Atlanta. The truck contains a Big Green Egg on board, and strives to serve fresh and healthy food to its customers.
Paul started the morning in the Happy Belly commissary kitchen, and then helped serve lunch at Cobb Galleria. Was he good enough to get a full-time offer? Watch the story to find out!
