East Side King will open one of their popular food trucks at the new bar Wonderland (1104 E. 6th St.) on March 1.
The trailer from Moto Utsonomiya and Paul Qui will be open 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday. The Wonderland is the latest bar from barman Jason Stevens of Bar Congress.
The new location, moved from The Grackle, will be helmed by Uchiko and Spin Modern Thai veteran Thai Changthong, who recently spent time in the kitchen at Qui.
The menu will feature grilled baguette peanut dipping sauce and pickles; grilled pork shoulder with sticky rice, tiger cry sauce, pickled cabbage; Thai-Kun fried chicken with chicken fat rice, boom sauce, cold cucumber, pickled cabbage; Panang beef curry with chicken fat rice and holy basil: and Thai-Kun fish cake with peanuts and pickles.
Wonderland will be in the space previously occupied Cheer Up Charlie’s, which this week celebrated its grand opening in the old Club Deville location.
