Tim Carman, at his new Post post, brought us an account Tuesday of how D.C.’s newest group of food trucks are faring during this so far jarringly cold winter. The answer, in two words: they’re cold.

The guys at the Bada Bing Food Truck seemed to be no exception as they camped out at a relatively new location in front of Courthouse today. Donning a sweatshirt, overcoat and hat, owner Nick Terzella confirmed Carman’s thesis: things haven’t been as busy as when it was warm. But it’s still been steady, he adds.

Bada Bing, with its cheese steaks, signature spiedes, and daily gourmet sides, is going to keep coming out as long as the temperatures don’t dip too far below freezing, Terzella says.
