Get trucked at this laneway party
We know it’s nearly Christmas but the only list you should be making and checking twice is the vendor list for the biggest food truck party in town. Truck It – Street Feeds Food Truck Laneway Party will see some of Brisbane’s favourite food trucks converge on the Valley on Friday 18 December in testament to Brisbane’s growing love affair with food served served from the back of a truck.
And what’s not to love? This food truck assemblage doesn’t just offer the best of Brisbane’s street food. It combines it with an array of local musical talent and games. Yes, games. Real world games — the ones people used to play before the advent of the computer — fun stuff like Jenga, horse shoe tossing and bag tossing.
A host of food truck vendors are already confirmed for this flurry of food trucks, including local legends, The Bun Mobile, along with The Bone Lorry, Juan More Taco, Lucky Egg Fried Chicken, Micasa and Gourmet H-Dogz. Entertainment has been curated by Fortitude Valley event venue, The Brightside.
The event, hosted by Truck It – Street Feeds, The Brightside and Department, kicks off at 4pm on Friday 18 December and will, of course, go until late. Head to 27 Warner Street, Fortitude Valley, for free entry and all the fun and food.
How would you like to win $100 worth of ‘Truck Bucks’ to spend however you want at this laneway event?. It’s salivatingly simple. Just check out the event Facebook page, hit ‘going’ and you’ll be in the draw for the bucks.
