Dallas, TX: TacoCon To Focus on the Orginal Food Trucks

TX-Dallas-Taco-Con

I admit that I have not visited as many taco trucks as I should have. That is all going to change on September 6. The information that my friends at The Taco Trail just sent over has me intrigued and hungry!

TacoCon (Cerveza) presented by the North Texas Taco Festival and Four Corners Brewing Company is a little more than two weeks away, and we have some hints to drop about what will be at DFW’s first taco truck and craft beer festival.

Attendees can expect a punchy limited-release beer with the longest name ever given to a Four Corners brew at the September 6 event. Trucks will be adding their own zip. Some rigs will bring out the traditional contraption required for the preparation of a certain iconic taco. We’ll say this, the machine isn’t as rare as some think. A cadre of the spinning beauts dot Oak Cliff’s major thoroughfares weekend nights.

Chile Pepper Grill, from Fort Worth, will outdo their performance at the North Texas Taco Festival. What will Taco Party, Holy Frijole, Ssahm BBQ, and Taco Heads bring to the fiesta? Will there be one-night-only specials? Will there be delicacies? You’re just going to have to come out to TacoCon (Cerveza).

There is no admission fee, and there will be plenty of parking. Feel free to bring lawn chairs and stay awhile.
