EL PASO, Texas – Over 32 of the area’s best food trucks are competing in the Gateway to Texas 1st Annual Food Truck Throwdown in Anthony this weekend.
The area’s best food trucks are competing for a $2,000 grand prize and the title of Texas Best in the Southwest.
It will take place at the Anthony Municipal Park Sunday Aug. 16th from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
There will be over 30 arts and crafts vendors from different organizations, such as the farmers market in Las Cruces, Pop Up Mercado and the Punk Rock Flea Market.
Eight of El Paso’s local live bands will be playing throughout the event as well and there will be a beer garden hosted by Howl at the Moon and the German Pub.
Event entrance is free with a canned food donation to help support the local food pantry.
