Food Trucks: The West Coast Media Bias

As you may have seen, James Cunningham, the host of the Cooking Channel’s “Eat Street,” shared a list of his top 10 favorite food trucks in the country with USA Today writer Larry Bleiberg.

Of his top seven trucks, you have four from the West Coast, plus an ice cream spot in Austin, which is basically Portland, Ore., with funny hats. South Florida is represented by The Rolling Stove from Miami at No. 10.

Admittedly, it’s a tough job. For instance, Cunningham’s No. 1 is The Grilled Cheese Truck in Los Angeles. But has he tried the Goat Cheese & Prosciutto on the menu from “the sexiest food truck in Miami,” aka Ms. Cheezious? It’s goat cheese, prosciutto, tomato and arugula on marble rye bread, and according to our Fort Lauderdale friend Amy Dunn, to die for. Or at least worth waiting in line for.
