2013 is shaping up to be another tumultuous period of growth for the city’s mobile eatery scene. Some food truck happenings since the first of the year:

2) The Potato-Potahto truck, which specialized in massive baked potatoes topped with everything from chicken-fried steak to brisket, has ceased operations. [SideDish]
3) Deep Ellum’s Epic Cones will soon take their pizza cones mobile with a mini-vehicle. [DFW Food Truck Foodie]
4) Lee’s Grilled Cheese expanded with a brick & mortar location in Fort Worth; the store offers sandwiches with nine different choices of cheese, plus extras from avocado to pulled pork. [Thrillist]
5) A German food truck has debuted in Fort Worth: Ketzler’s Schnitzel Shack is bringing schnitzel and brats to the masses. [DFW Food Truck Foodie/Official]
6) The SMU campus is being served by a new truck called the The Snackin’ Wagin’, providing hungry students with everything from coffee and pastries to sandwiches and “puppy therapy”. [DFW Food Truck Foodie/Facebook]
