The NFL’s and the world’s largest video screen — which, by the way, dwarfs the one at JerryWorld in Arlington — won’t be the only exciting change in store for Texans fans when the team hosts the Dolphins on Aug. 17.
Bernie’s Burger Bus, the Houston food truck that landed at the No. 28 on Alison Cook’s Top 100 for 2012, has found a permanent parking spot for the upcoming season. Chef Justin Turner, who once was the personal chef for former Rockets forward Shane Battier, is setting his sights on the football crowd, and will be selling his burgers inside Reliant Stadium, on the 100 level.
According to Houston Business Journal, the 100 level also will feature a RedZone Bar showing the NFL RedZone channel. And there will be a food-truck court in the Blue Lot on the stadium’s south side, where Turner’s souped-up school bus will be selling his beloved burgers to tailgaters and crowds outside as well.
