October brings with it festival season and for foodies, the Haute Wheels Food Truck Festival is the place to be. Houston‘s best food trucks will be on hand with fun, food, music and more as it returns October 11-13, 2013 for Truck or Treat, adding a NEW Friday movie night to its successful weekend event line-up.

This 3-day festival will feature 37 gourmet and fun food trucks, the H-E-B Beer and Wine Garden, live music, a vendor village and the ALL NEW Friday movie night, Truck or Treat, featuring “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” on a giant 40-foot movie screen with thriller music and costume contest

Participating trucks include: Angie’s Cake, Bare Bowls, Bernie’s Burger Bus, Coreanos, Custom Confections, Chi’lantro BBQ, Chocolat d’arte, Fork in the Road, Frosted Betty, Firehouse Tacos, Fraiche, Golden Grill, Good Dog Hot Dogs, Happy Endings, H-town StrEats, It’s a Wrap, LadyBird, The Lunch Bag, Kona Ice, Kurbside Eatz, Monster PBJ, MuSubi Houston, Pi Pizza, Pocket to Me, Porch Swing Desserts, Soul Cat Cuisine, St. John’s Fire, The Waffle Bus, Tila’s, Third Coast Sandwiches, Zeapod Cakery and newcomers to the festival: Flippin Patties, Koagie Hots, Muiishi Makirritos; Nom Mi Street, Snow Cream Man and Speer’s Rolling Bistro.

While free samples are not on the menu food trucks will be selling a sample portion and strealined menu to make the ordering process smoother.

Haute Wheels takes place on the HCC Southwest West Loop Campus, 5601 West Loop South.

Hours:

Friday October 11, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.; (Ages 21 and over only)

Saturday and Sunday October 12-13 is 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Tickets start at $16 for adults, which include $5 worth of drink tickets, music and $1 donation to the HCC Foundation. Children 12 and under are free on October 12 and 13.
