Brava’s chicken curry sounds perfect for a fall afternoon
A semi-circle of colorfully decorated trucks held court outside Harriet Brewing this summer, luring fans with seductive scents of bulgogi, fried pork belly, and Argentinian empanadas. The first food truck rally organized by the Minnesota Food Truck Association (MNFTA) was such a success, they’re now hosting a second rally for fall, and this one promises to be even tastier.
On Saturday October 19th from noon until 7:00 pm, 15 trucks will gather outside of Harriet Brewing. The mobile street food vendors bringing their bevy of bites include: Lulu’s Street Food, Cafe Racer, Tiki Tims, AZ Canteen, Motley Crews, Stanley’s on Wheels, Brava, Eat At Sandy’s, Hibachi Daruma , A Cupcake Social, Hot Indian Foods, The MidNord Empanada Truck, Moral Omnivore, Gastrotruck, and The Red Pig & Truffle (a new truck from the owners of Lulu’s Street Food).
There will also be plenty of live music, courtesy of Body Omara, Jeff Ray and The Stakes, Crankshaft and the Gear Grinders, plus a special surprise guest.
The MNFTA is a non-profit group supporting the small business owners who take their eats to the streets. A portion of the profits from this event will be donated to the Cedar Cultural Center.
Best of all, entry to the event is free and open to everyone (drinkers will need to prove they are over 21 to enjoy the hoppy bounty inside Harriet Brewing).
