NASHVILLE, Tenn. –More than 30 food trucks will be battling it out for the best of the best Saturday for the third annual “Nashville Street Food Awards” at Nashville Farmers Market. Â
A panel of judges will sample entries from the trucks, with winners named at the conclusion of the event.Â
Categories include a variety of Nashville-inspired and street food standards like Best Taco, Best Between Bread and Best Smoked.Â
There will also be two Nashville brands featured in categories, Best Yazoo and Best Goo Goo Cluster.Â
The best overall performing food truck will win the honor of Best of the Best. Â
Among the participating trucks are Bare Naked Bagel, Crepe A Diem,Dawg Daze and Smoke Et Al. Â
Attendees will have the opportunity purchase food from all participating trucks. There will be voting opportunities for the People’s Choice Award, naming the crowd’s overall favorite. Â
A portion of proceeds will benefit Musicians’ Corner. The free event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.Â
