Norman is one step closer to getting a new food truck park after city officials broke ground on Main Street’s upcoming “TOLY Park” Feb. 9, KFOR reports.

“Residents in Norman will now have an easier way to get food on the go.

On Friday, the Norman Chamber of Commerce broke ground for a new food truck park.

The lot, which sits at 227 W. Main St., used to house a lumbar [sic] yard but has been an eyesore for years.”

The City of Norman first approved the park, designed by local dentist Gabriel Bird, in November 2017. Bird’s plans for the lot include a three-story building with a dentist’s office and a yard with space for multiple food trucks.
