Noli’s Pizza, in the Blackstone district, is now open.

The restaurant opened this week and is serving New York-style pizza as well as “grandma pie” — a thin pan pizza that’s popular in Long Island and New Jersey — salad and Italian desserts. The restaurant has a bar that stocks beer, wine and select liquors.

The restaurant, at 4007 Farnam St., has hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. It is closed Sunday.

In other Blackstone news, the district is getting a new food truck, and its founders want your help.

The Rig, as the truck is called, plans to park behind Scriptown Brewery and serve gourmet waffle sliders, although the full menu has yet to be made public. The venture was anticipating a spring opening but needs to buy a new generator and make other updates to its truck. The owners have begun a Kickstarter campaign with the aim of raising $4,000.
