Hey, remember that food truck sanctuary that we told you was in the works in the vacant lot behind Ikea in South Philly? It sounded almost too good to be true, right? Well, turns out it was. Grub just got word that the project is no longer moving forward, and is for all intents and purposes dead. Kristin Muldoon, who was spearheading the project sent us an email to say she’s no longer involved in developing the food truck garden and commissary. And, much worse, that it is “on hold indefinitely.” She didn’t offer any explanation. Oh well, as the Grateful Dead sang on their classic tune “Truckin’” (seems appropriate here), “they can’t revoke your soul for trying.”
