Enjoy an evening picnic in the park – and don’t worry about packing the chow. Food trucks galore will be waiting with dinner.
Rocklin’s Johnson-Springview Park will host “Food Truck Mania” from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday. More than 1,000 people are expected to attend. The park is located at 5460 Fifth St., Rocklin.
The free family event features a dozen food trucks plus live music, games and vendors. This series will continue on the fourth Thursday of each month throughout the summer with a changing menu of food trucks and live entertainment.
Expected to roll in for Thursday’s park party are Krush Burger, Drewski’s Hot Rod Kitchen, Dave’s Dawgs, Gameday Grill, Bacon Mania, Cruizin’ Crustacean, Happy Cow, La Mex Taqueria, An Honest Pie, Cluck n Chuck, Smokers Wild BBQ and Local Kine Shave Ice. Music will be provided by the Soulshakers.
