After just more than a year of slinging encased meats on the streets of St. Louis, Sausage Syndicate is calling it quits and putting its food truck up for sale.

Owner Christy Perry says her two business partners have moved on, and she doesn’t want to leave her full-time job at Wells Fargo or run a food-truck business on the side.

She’s looking to sell the tricked-out truck to someone interested in getting into the meals-on-wheels biz.

“I bought the truck as an empty Snap-on Tools truck, gutted it and had everything made to my exact specifications,” Perry says. “I have had the truck (just) over a year, and it has been meticulously maintained. It’s rare to have a truck like this for sale in our back yard.”

Perry, a member of the St. Louis Food Truck Association, says she’d be happy to help any buyer navigate “the confusing food-truck regulations in the city and county.”

Her asking price is about $60,000. If you want to kick the tires or know someone who does, Perry can be reached at 618-791-0469
