Marination Station open for business on Friday

If the transition of two businesses from street food legends to Capitol Hill brick and mortar establishments truly represents a foodie trend in Seattle, Pike/Pine is about to get even more trend-y. Marination Station has announced that their new fixed-place restaurant will be open for business starting this Friday. There’s also a soft launch Thursday night by invite only so they can test the new join out. Meanwhile, Skillet Diner is nearly ready for its debut at 14th and Union. Here’s the announcement from Marination:

MARINATION STATION GRAND OPENING, FRIDAY, APRIL 22

WHAT: The much-anticipated Marination Station will open the doors to its brick-and-mortar sister.

WHEN: Fri., April 22, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

WHERE: Marination Station is located directly above the QFC at the corner of Broadway and Pike in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

NEW MENU ITEMS: In addition to its award-winning curb cuisine, Marination Station will be serving new dishes such as Loco Moco, musubi, kimchi tofu soup, and miso ginger chicken bánh mì. There is also a beer garden!

PARKING: Plenty of FREE parking in lot above and below QFC

ENTERTAINMENT: A whole lot of Aloha served up all day!
