Social Media Front & Center at NRA Show 2011

The 2011 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show will feature social media front and center on the exhibit floor – as well as several education sessions will also be dedicated to social media topics. Show-goers will learn about group buying, integrating social media and geo-social applications with POS systems, using social media channels in human resources, and more.

NRA Show 2011 will keep attendees up-to-date in real-time on the official show blog Floored! (right here!), Twitter (also with hashtags #NRAShow and #IWSB), Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, and has developed a mobile app for the big event.

Attendees can also use eventSocial to identify fellow NRA Show 2011 and International Wine, Spirits & Beer Event (IWSB) registrants already in their networks and connect with them by logging into their social networks and e-mail accounts, identify fellow registrants already in their networks, connect with them, and post show-related updates to Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Places Visitors will also be able to check in for the first time to NRA Show and IWSB and select show floor areas using Facebook Places from a smartphone.

The veritable “who’s who” of social media companies exhibiting include leading social media market companies like Facebook, Google, Groupon, LivingSocial, SocialGrub, Travel Zoo, Where and Yelp.
