The spaghetti and pesto were cooked together for a little while in another pan, then put into a container. After the steak was added on top, she poured the juices from the steak pan over everything, and it was quite juicy.

Manos Peruanos had escabeche de pescado as yesterday’s Especial de Hoy, and it cost $10. No worries if you don’t know Spanish. Just about everything on the menu was shown in both Spanish and English.

“Aji” means chile pepper in Spanish, and “amarillo” means yellow, but while they are called yellow chile peppers, their color changes to orange as they mature. You could even see tiny pieces of orange in the sauce.
