Raley’s Family of Fine Stores has embarked on a new partnership with food truck operator Flavor Face, which will source all its food from the local grocery chain.

The free family event features a dozen food trucks plus live music, games and vendors.

The event, which benefits the Natomas Arts and Education Foundation, is part of the nonprofit’s participation in the Big Day of Giving, an online crowdfunding campaign featuring over 500 local organizations.

Coming to a craft brewery near you are six Sacramento gourmet food trucks that will compete every first Thursday of the month for the inaugural Fantasy Food Truck Showdown.
