The on-campus plaza will have four vendor stalls, where food trucks will take turns setting up

Two new food trucks officially set sail in Wichita today. One serves pasta. The other serves gourmet tacos.

His menu will focus on French/Japanese-style crepes, both sweet and savory, and customers can decide what they want inside. His sweet choices include Nutella, chocolate, strawberries, bananas and ice cream. Savory crepes can be filled with ham, cheddar cheese, egg, spinach and bacon.

The “Food Truck Plaza” should be completed by June, and will be located on the new Innovation Campus, a massive addition to the university that’s being built on the former Braeburn Golf Course.

Wichita has a new tamale truck that also sells quesadillas, fajita wraps, chile rellenos, tacos and more.

Who’s going to be there on Sept. 18? Many of the rally regulars, including Big Chill Ice Cream, Brickhouse BBQ, B.S. Sandwich Press, Funky Monkey Munchies, Hopperoni Espress, Kona Ice, Let'm Eat Brats, Lynn's Curbside Cookout, The Flying Stove and The Kamayan Truck. Retail fashion truck Cricket Alley also will be there.

The food truck experience in front of Reverie Coffee Roasters, the shop at 2611 E. Douglas, is about to become much more pleasant.
