Thursday is “Food Truck Night” at Admiral Twin Drive-in, and for those who have enjoyed this popular once-a-month presentation, there’s good news: Every Thursday night in August is “Food Truck Night.”
This Thursday, the gates will open at 7 p.m., and the food trucks confirmed for the event include The Dog House hot dog vendor, Italian food from Mangiamo, Local Table and Mr. Nice Guys.

There will also be local music playing during the time leading up to the the movies showing. On Thursday, the shows on one side of the drive-in are the animated movies “Turbo” at 8:45 p.m. followed by “Despicable Me 2,” while the other side features “The Heat” at 9 p.m. followed by “The Lone Ranger.”

Beginning Friday, the “Turbo”/”Despicable Me 2” double-feature remains in place on one side, while the drive-in’s other side will be showing new release “The Wolverine” followed by the sequel “Grown Ups 2.”

“Food Truck Nights” continue next week, with the events set for Aug. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. Good food, movies, outdoors and a bit of pre-show music on Thursday nights – only a few more remain before school goes back in session.

As always, admission for the double-features is $7 for adults, $3 for those ages 3-11, and free for those age 2 and under.
