Cooking icon Jamie Oliver has announced that a “mobile food kitchen” will be making its way around Victoria over the next few weeks, open to the public for free cooking classes.
Jamie will be joined by six people in each cooking demonstration, however all members of the public are invited to attend and learn some Ministry of Food cooking tips.
Jamie’s Ministry of Food CEO Alicia Peardon said that the “mobile food kitchen” classroom would provide people in isolated areas with access to Jamie Oliver cooking classes.
“We are thrilled about the expansion of the Jamie’s Ministry of Food program and the addition of the first Mobile Kitchen in Victoria. Now we can reach people in parts of the state who wouldn’t normally have access to this,“ Ms Peardon said.
The first “mobile cooking class” will be held on 14 December 2012 at 8am in Federation Square, Melbourne.
