WASHINGTON –Â It has been a long process but it appears new food truck regulations will soon be in place in D.C.
After months of negotiating behind the scenes, city leaders and food truck operators appear to be pleased with emergency regulations approved by the council Tuesday.
The rules have been worked out in way not to hurt the food truck industry yet still provide a new policy when it comes to when and where the trucks can park during lunch hour.
Mayor Vincent Gray must sign off on the new measures.
