London’s Best Food Trucks Serve Up Street Food at Thames Festival

Bhangra Burger

Bhangra Burger

To coincide with The Mayor’s Thames Festival this weekend (10am-11pm daily), the collective – London’s new and only association of food trucks – park their vans at 2 key points on the route. Some occupy a spot next to Tate Modern, including Luardos (Mexican burritos); Jamon Jamon (Spanish paella); Anna Mae’s (Deep South pulled pork); Churros Bros (Spanish churros); Buen Provecho (Mexican street food); Bean & Gone Coffee (Monmouth coffee) and our current favourite, Big Apple Hot Dogs (gourmet hot dogs). Meanwhile, over at More London – the new development on the river east of London Bridge station – you’ll find Bhangra Burger (Indian spiced burgers, above); Crêperie Nicholas (Breton galettes, below); Tongue ‘n’ Cheek (Italian street food); and newbie Hardcore Prawn (Asian fusion). They should turn a festival into a feast.
