The Gathering, Baltimore's traveling food truck rally, is meeting tonight at Stratford University in Little Italy
Friday's food truck event will be held at Metro Crossing, a just-completed luxury apartment complex at Metro Centre in Owings Mills.
Barbecue, Cuban food and fried foods are just a taste of what attendees of Vandalia's first Food Truck Rally can expect to try on Friday, according to Rich Hopkins, city spokesman.
Vendors would be required to reserve the parking spots in advance and to lease special signs that inform residents when the spots are reserved. The vendors would also be required to pay the regular parking meter fees.
A food truck will soon be part of the lunch time choices for students at Columbia high schools.
