We’ve been talking about food trucks a lot lately.
You may remember us announcing the Food Truck Fridays in downtown Arlington. That event, which ended in April, took care of the lunch crowd.
We recently asked you if you liked the idea of having a permanent food truck park in Arlington.
Today, we are talking about food trucks in Arlington again. This time, it’s because of this awesome evening event that begins on Friday, May 15.
Arlington Parks & Recreation Department (APRD) will host the 2nd Food Truck Friday Night series at River Legacy Park’s Elm Grove Pavilion. Beginning May 15, the event will occur each Friday night through June 5 from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
In addition to the awesome food served by area food trucks, adult beverages will be available.
Be sure to bring the entire family because there is plenty of room to run around and play before or after you chow down.
The event free to attend. You only have to pay for food and drinks.
Keep an eye on APRD’s Facebook page because that’s where they will announce which food trucks will be on-site. For more information on the event, hop over to the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department’s website.
