There’s good news for Baton Rouge kolache lovers. The Daily Reveille reports local bakery the Kolache Kitchen is hitting the streets in a new food truck, and the owner said the truck should frequent downtown and Tigerland though no Baton Rouge territory is off-limits.

The Kolache Kitchen food truck, called the Rolling Pin, will offer the same menu as the bricks-and-mortar location, including their pastries known as kolaches, breakfast tacos, empanadas and other options, according to The Daily Reveille.

Owner Will Edwards told the Reveille a food truck was always part of his plan after a family friend began a successful business selling cupcakes from a trailer, but Edwards is only now getting into the mobile business.

The kolache truck began rolling Oct. 24, and those interested can follow its whereabouts onFacebook and Twitter.
