DALLAS – The Dallas City Council could vote this week on a plan to allow gourmet food trucks downtown.
The trucks have gained a steady following in other major cities. Mobile food vendors currently are banned from downtown without a special event permit.
The Arts District is asking the council for a zoning change to allow the trucks on Flora Street.
