Hagerstown, MD: JLG and Jerr-Dan held a Food Truck Festival on Oct. 25

JLG Industries Inc. and Jerr-Dan Corp., both Osh-kosh Corp. companies, teamed up for the “Food Truck Festival” at Fountain Head Plaza in Hagerstown on Oct. 25 to support United Way of Washington County.The event ran from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and was open to the public.

The festival featured Hempen Hill BBQ, Fireside Pizza, C&O Tacos, Country Fresh Food Truck and Long’s Donuts. Each business donated a portion of sales to United Way of Washington County.

“This event allows our entire team and the community to come together in support of an important organization that does so much for families and businesses where we work and live,” said Richard Del Campo, vice president and general manager of Jerr-Dan. “We are happy to be leading this effort, and we’re hopeful that many people will take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy lunch while supporting the United Way.”

“JLG and Jerr-Dan have made a tremendous fundraising impact at the local level in Washington County and other regional locations where they operate,” said Mark Weldon, director of development for United Way of Washington County. “The Food Truck Festival is not only an innovative way to support the campaign, it is an opportunity to bring the greater community together for a great cause.”
