One national restaurant chain is taking a cue from the little guys. The Olive Garden has dispatched its Breadstick Nation Food Truck to Houston to hand out free samples of the restaurant’s new “Breadstick Sandwich.” The truck was parked outside Minute Maid Park on a rainy Wednesday. It was fan frenzy. The breadsticks and sandwiches were a hit with the crowd.

The truck will be at the BBVA Compass Stadium, 6-10 p.m. Friday, and at Tom Green Park in The Woodlands, 3-10 p.m. Saturday. The social media campaign is #breadsticknation.
