MANSFIELD — Mayor Tim Theaker and Parks Department Manager Mark Abrams have announced a pair of events will be taking place in Mansfield the first weekend in October.
First, the second annual food truck festival is set for Oct. 2 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The festival will be held at South Park, 100 Brinkerhoff Avenue, 44906. Due to COVID-19 regulations we ask that all attendees practice social distancing, wear masks while waiting in line and do not congregate around the picnic tables.
Attendees are more than welcome to create a picnic only while practicing six feet social distancing from others. If interested in participating or have any questions please call Angel Ross-Taylor at 419-755-9856.
In addition, the fourth annual Living History Days will take place at South Park on Oct. 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be militia musket demonstrations, cannon demonstrations, battle reenactments, blacksmithing, games and children’s activities, and more.
This is a FREE event for the public and all are welcome to attend.
