MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Before serving up hundreds of hungry customers at the annual Milford Food Truck Festival and Open Air Market, the folks from Christiano’s Mobile stopped by News 8 to show off how to cook some tasty treats.

Felipe Perez and Liz Nerkowski from Christiano’s Mobile let us inside their pizzeria’s food truck Saturday on Good Morning Connecticut. Felipe shows us how to make to make fried dough and Liz tells us all about the event.

The food truck festival is happening at Eisenhower Park in Milford, on Memorial Day Weekend, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. There are almost two dozen specialty trucks visiting, almost 100 cool retail vendors from crafts to hot sauces, music, fun for the kids, face painting, games, giveaways and adult beverages.

Advance tickets are only $2 and include parking. Children under 12 are free and do not need a ticket. You’ll also be entered for a bunch of cool prizes like free food at the trucks, free beer, a vendor gift basket and gift certificates to local fun businesses.
