NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Jack Daniel’s Bash on Broadway is expected to bring 150,000 people to Nashville to enjoy New Year’s Eve in Music City.
Multiple food trucks will be featured as one of the main food sources for visitors at the event. One of the 18 trucks scheduled to be at the party is Hoss’ Loaded Burgers.
Owner Dallas Shaw said they expect to be slammed.
“When you have 150,000 people who are looking for something to eat, there’s no limit to what you can do really. It’s just how fast you can churn the food out,” he said.
Jim Farmer, owner of Dawg Daze Gourmet Hotdogs, said in situations like this every inch of space in a food truck counts.
On a busy day, Dawg Daze will have six people working inside the truck, cooking hotdogs and serving customers – leaving very little room for storing the actual food they serve.
Each truck is expecting to be able to serve about 500 customers on New Year’s Eve, totaling nearly 10,000 customers served between the 18 trucks.
“It really allows Nashville to experience the deliciousness of our food trucks.” Shaw said, adding that nothing is more convenient than a restaurant that drives to you. “Food trucks are just as good as any restaurant you would go to, sometimes even better.”
