Interested in a gourmet baked potato? Well, a new Wallingford business has just the thing for you.
The Record-Journal reports that Craig and Krista McCarthy, who used to work in the bail bonds industry, have bought The Spud Stud, a food truck. They park the truck half the time at the Metro Tools’ parking lot at 701 North Colony Road in Wallingford, with the rest of the time spent at the Stamford Beer Garden, according to the newspaper.
The Spud Stud serves hotdogs and hamburgers, but specializes in gourmet baked potatoes, according to the truck’s Facebook page.
