We told you back in December that the NC Food Trucks crew needed your help at the City of Raleigh Law and Public Safety Committee. The rescheduled meeting is Tuesday (Jan 25th) morning at 9am and Lucas Kinnin has sent over the following email to his supporters. We have received a handful of emails over the past month of folks wanting to know how to help out. Attending Tuesday’s meeting will be a big piece of the support to help get Food Trucks legal in downtown. If you can make the meeting, email Lucas at the email below to get details of future meetings and information. (Sorry for the late notice, we just received this tonight)
Dear Food Truck Supporters,
Thank you so much for your support for food trucks in Downtown Raleigh. We need your help again to let the city of Raleigh know that the people want food trucks in Downtown NOW! The Law & Public Safety Committee meeting regarding food trucks will be held on Tuesday, January 25th at 9:00 at 222 W. Hargett St. Room 305. We are trying to get as many people as possible to show up to the meeting in support of food trucks so if you can make it, your presence will be greatly appreciated.
Also, please help spread the word to all of your foodie friends about the meeting as well as www.ncfoodtrucks.com where people can send an email to the city to voice their support for food trucks. We will continue to update you by email as things progress so that you can stay informed. Thanks again for all of your help and we hope to be serving you delicious street food where you live, work and play very soon!
Cheers,
Lucas Kinnin
