SEA ISLE CITY — Since last year’s food truck festival was so successful, event organizers have decided to host two food truck events this year.

The Sea Isle City Food Truck Rally will take place June 26-28, while the 2nd annualSea Isle City Food Truck Festival will take place Sept. 11-13. Sea Isle City will also host a food truck event the weekend before Independence Day and the weekend after Labor Day. Both events will once again be held at Kix McNutley’s, 63rd and Landis Avenue.

“Last year was so successful everyone was asking if we could do a second one,” said Denis Brown, Stallion Marketing LLC Owner.

The new Sea Isle City Food Truck Rally will feature roughly 16 food trucks, including a mix of trucks that visited Sea Isle City last fall and some new trucks. Confirmed trucks for the rally include returning trucks such as Vito’s Hot Dogs, Cha Yen, Sum Pig, Mike’s Pretzels, Zinna’s Bistro, El Lechon De Negron, Kix Lincoln Grill, Waffle De Lys and Shore Shake. New trucks include On the Menu and Spectrum Farm to Truck and a number of other trucks will be named closer to the event.

The 2014 Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival drew about 7,500 people over the three days during from Sept. 26 to 28.
