A memo from City Planner Mark Ostgarden provided information from 17 Minnesota cities about their own annual fees for food trucks.

Green Bay alderman are considering an ordinance that would allow food trucks vendors to obtain licenses and operate on city streets.

The council approved the license ordinance with revisions May 4 and its sister ordinance, which contains zoning guidelines for food trucks.

Parked side by side, a dozen food trucks opened for the first event of the Food Truck League, an organization comprised of about 40 vendors.

The city planning staff is recommending approval of the zoning change, stating in its report the design of the site benefits the community.
