The Eat Me, Drink Me food truck pulled into Greenport for Taste North Fork last weekend and brought with them their increasingly popular 100% grass-fed beef burger.

This was a pretty good kasha knish, but it was kept under heat too long. The crust was somewhat crispy, which we like, but the exposed kasha on top was hard too. That’s a no-no.

New York, NY: Street Eats – Tempura Battered Shrimp Burrito from Domo Taco

The burrito did unravel a bit towards the end, so it was a good thing they included a fork with lunch. The spiciness of the sauces rose a few notches as we got towards the last few bites, but nothing too severe, and it did not overpower the rest of the burrito.

New York, NY: Street Eats – Chili Chicken from Hyderabad

Opening the container, there were chunks of chicken in a reddish-brown sauce, with onions and bell peppers. It was served over basmati rice, with a small salad on the side.

The combo comes with either a chicken lollipop (the photo looks like a sweet and sour fried drumstick but I didn’t order it) or a Momo, possibly the best known Tibetan staple, a Tsampa (tibetan grain flour) dumpling .

The buffalo sauce was pretty spicy, which is to our taste. The blue cheese sauce was nice and cheesy, with chunks of actual blue cheese in the sauce.

The spaghetti and pesto were cooked together for a little while in another pan, then put into a container. After the steak was added on top, she poured the juices from the steak pan over everything, and it was quite juicy.

Lunch was chock full of goodies like carrots, peas, onions, bell pepper, egg and soy beans. The two sauces kicked up the heat quotient quite a bit, too.

A combination of mushroom and sauerkraut pierogies were good, with both flavors coming through. The brine of the sauerkraut was deepened somewhat by the ‘shrooms.

The menu at Mr. Nice Guy is on the small side, with 5 or 6 different types of sliders, regular and yucca fries, and chicken wings.
