The city of Toronto appears to be encouraging more food trucks to be out on the streets.
The licensing office will now go over some proposed changes to accommodate the industry, which continues to materialize at a high rate.
It was just last year when City Hall alleviated some of the conditions for food truck vendors.
Officials are now looking to create more opportunities for them and if the changes are upgraded, vendors will be eligible to purchase six-month permits for $2,597, nine-month permits at a cost of $3,896 or a 12-month permit worth $5,066.
