High quality fast food prepared in front of you and served directly: This is the concept for the first Street Food Market in Trier on 22 and 23 of August.
With a line-up of twenty food trucks, visitors can expect tasty street food creations from around the world; Mexican burritos, burgers and unusual classic pizzas to Indian, Persian and Arabian specialties. Not to forget the vegetarian and vegan options. Diversity and creativity in the food preparation are key words for this mouth watering event.
Now, out of the twenty food trucks announced on the festival, six are actually Luxembourgish. Food trucks normally touring in Luxembourg serving their kind of specialties outside office areas, offering the convenience of quick service while providing food choices that save those on a busy schedule from the need to sit down.
The food truck industry is an increasing trend in all countries, and all major European cities now harbour a local food truck fleet. Reports say the rapid expansion of food trucks can be attributed to people’s desire for quality, value and speed, plus appreciation for fresh, local food and for a preference for small and sustainable business. This trend has finally reached Luxembourg where having food favourite’s right outside a particular location serving appetising mobile food is getting more and more popular.
Following are the Luxemburgish food trucks relocating to the Trier Food Truck Festival for the weekend and the August sunshine:
Come enjoy plenty of music, games, children activities and food&beverages!
