VENTURA, Calif. – The Foothill Food Truck Fest is returning for its second season as an on-site fundraiser for improvement projects at the Poinsettia Pavilion in Ventura.
The event from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday will include nearly a dozen trucks, many of them locally owned. Indoor seating will be available.
Participating trucks will include ConFusion Street Cuisine, Cousins Maine Lobster, Desserts to Die For, Good to Go Mobile Juice, It’s in the Sauce, Scratch, Sweet Arleen’s, The Grilled Cheese Truck and The Perk U Later.
The trucks will appear in the pavilion’s cliff-side parking lot, which offers prime views of the coastline.
Seating will be available inside the pavilion, where beer and wine by Surf Brewery and Four Brix Winery will be sold. Entertainment will be by the Old Time Country Bluegrass Music Association.

The Foothill Food Truck Fest is one of several area gourmet food truck events returning after winter-season breaks. It will take place on the first Tuesday of every month.
Also returning for its second season is the Hueneme Beach Sunset Supper gourmet food truck event. It is slated to resume from 5 to 8:30 p.m. April 14 in parking lot A next to the pier at Hueneme Beach Park on Surfside Drive.
Meanwhile, the website for the Wet Wednesday gourmet food truck event at Marine Emporium Landing in Oxnard’s Channel Islands Harbor states that the event will return on May 20.
