VF Outlet Center hosted its annual Food Truck Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, a day later than originally planned because of the rainy weather.
On the menu was a variety of foods and cuisines from different trucks.
Also on the schedule at the center in Wyomissing were a best wings contest, live music from Miss Behavin’ and adoptable pets from the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
Jonnelle Keller, coordinator of advertising and administration for the VF Outlet Center, said that nearly 2,000 people turned out.
“I think this by far was the highest-attended one of the four that was held,” she said, adding that 15 food trucks participated.
Funds raised from the wings contest, which had not yet been totaled, were being donated to the Rescue League, Keller said.
