Boston, MA: Where to Eat in Boston – Food Truck Extravaganza at SOWA Open Market

One of the best parts about Boston summer must be the SOWA open market. Held on Sundays May through October in the artsy SOWA district, it’s got art, artisans, and best of all – food trucks.

Best of Boston Food Trucks
I don’t live or work downtown, so it’s hard for me to hit up the food trucks on any given day. That’s what’s so great about the SOWA market: all the best food trucks in one place in a wagon circle of epicurean excellence.

Lobsta Love
The first “Boston” meal I had when we moved here a year ago was a tasty lobster quesadillafrom this truck. Their lobster mac & cheese is equally delicious.

Bon Me
Banh mi? Thai basil lemonade? Yes and yes. Maybe the most delicious sandwich (and lemonade) of my life. If you don’t or prefer not to eat too many carbs, you can get a brown rice bowl with the same fixins as the sandwich.

A constantly-shifting menu, made with the freshest ingredients possible? Rosemary french fries? Yes please.

The Cookie Monstah
What’s better than a classic ice cream sandwich?

Grillo’s Pickles
Not a food truck, per say, but the food truck’s little brother than wants to hang with the cool crowd. You can get two delicious spicy spears for $1, or a whole tub of half-sours or pickled asparagus.
