The Friends of the Charlestown Navy Yard and officials from the city will meet on Wednesday to discuss food truck plans for the Navy Yard.
The meeting is open to the community and business owners.
Two weeks ago, city officials announced that one of several new food trucks in Boston would be stationed in the Navy Yard. But on the appointed day that the truck was supposed to arrive, no vendors turned out.
The meeting, which starts at 7 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Constitution Inn/YMCA, should explain what’s happening with food trucks in the neighborhood.
