Clover Food Lab, the vegetarian quick-serve concept that started as a food truck, has just opened a brick-and-mortar spot in Burlington. The opening marks the company’s first suburban store and its third location.
The 1,500 square-foot restaurant, which seats 44 around communal tables and has bar-stool seating, features an open kitchen, a plant wall and silver maple countertops. Glass displays showcase a digital menu, which includes the signature chickpea fritter among other creative vegetarian dishes made with locally procured produce and ingredients. Items are usually no more than $7 – proving that healthy, good food doesn’t have to be expensive.
Clover gives the same care and credence to its coffee brewing as it does its food, turning to local roasters. Craft beer is also served at this location.
Clover in Burlington is open seven days for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 6 AM-9 PM.
