HipPOPs (www.HipPOPs.com), the area’s first handcrafted all-natural, gluten-free, ORB Kosher Certified gelato on a stick, unveils its HipPOP Truck and the launch of its artisan gelato, sorbet and frozen yogurt POPs in hundreds of combinations. Made daily in small, handcrafted batches in the company’s micro-creamery in Dania Beach, HipPOPs is the creation of frozen dessert industry veteran Anthony Fellows.
“I was looking for a new venture that would have a very local feel and offer a delicious, unique, and healthy new dessert option in South Florida. Gelato became the natural choice because of its rich, creamy texture and significantly lower fat content compared to ice cream. I knew we could do something special and fun by delivering these desserts from a hip, cool truck. HipPOPs was born, and my passion took over,” said Fellows.
Working with an industry titan, Fellows created recipes using old-world Italian gelateria tradition – adding a modern twist. “We focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, make small handcrafted batches daily – and created an amazing truck to make the experience fun and personal. You can customize your POP with premium European chocolate dips and crushed nut ‘poppings.’ We’re very excited to introduce South Florida to the delicious HipPOPs experience,” Fellows said.
HipPOPs features 15 to 20 fresh flavors daily on its truck.
