New England: Food Truck Fest Organizers Announce Trucks Set for this Year’s Tour

Some of the food trucks set to tour the state as part of the 2012 Food Truck Festivals have been announced.

Food Truck Festivals of New England announced Friday the names of 48 food trucks participating in this year’s festival season that kicks off May 26 with the Boston Food Truck Festival at the UMass Boston/Bayside Expo & Conference Center.

The trucks announced so far are:

Away Café, BBQ Smith, Bite Into Maine, Bon Me, Boston Speed Dog, Brandi Foods, C-Cups Cupcakes, Captain Ron’s, Chubby Chickpea Mobile, Cool Cow Ice Cream, Culinary Cruisers, Cupcake Mojo, Daddy’s Fried Dough, Del’s Lemonade, The Dining Car, Emack & Bolio’s, FanCheezical, Fiddlestix Trolley, Firedog, Firefly’s BBQ, Franca’s Wood Fired Pizza, The FroYo Truck, Frozen Hoagies, Gabi’s Smoke Shack, Go Fish!, Grilled Cheese Nation, The Happy Taco, Irie Bites, Julian’s Omnibus, Juniper Farms Ice Cream, Kickass Cupcakes, Kona Ice, Lefty’s Silver Cart, Lobsta Love, M&M Rib’s BBQ, Mei Mei Street Kitchen, Mijos Tacos, Miss Bailey’s All American Comfort Food, Momogoose, Paris Creperie’s Eiffel Tourer, Redbones BBQ, Rocket Fine Street Food, Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, Silk Road BBQ, Staff Meal, The Sweet Truck, Trolley Dogs, The Whoo(pie) Wagon, Woodman’s of Essex

Not every truck will be at every festival, but more vendors will be added, according to Food Truck Festivals of New England.

Trucks will make 11 stops across the state from May through October with festivals in Worcester, Framingham, Lowell, Cape Cod, Hingham, and multiple dates throughout Boston’s neighborhoods. This summer Brighton, Charlestown, and East Boston will host festivals.

All festivals will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a V.I.P preview hour from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tickets are already on sale for some of the festivals.
